Slow down, relax and experience the beauty of Peruvian culture all while learning new ways to support the vitality of your own body and mind. The retreat will be an opportunity for you to step away from the stressors of daily life and be in community with other women.
Details
Daily Practice
The most important part of retreat, is taking time to intentionally slow down and come into presence. You'll be guided through daily meditation, nervous system regulation and functional mobility practices to ground yourself and ease your body and mind. Also all participants will receive a 90-min therapeutic massage.
Nourish
All meals at the El Verde are included in the retreat, with the ability to accommodate any dietary requirements or requests. Food is prepared using locally-sourced ingredients, organic fruits, vegetables & herbs, Andean grains, and fresh eggs. Access to tea and filtered water is available 24/7. Delicious hot cacao elixers hand made by our host can be purchased when desired.
Take Sanctuary
Our retreat will take place at El Verde, an intimate retreat space nestled in the Sacred Valley an hour from Cusco. The property is set back from the main road so you truly have that feeling of tucking away into the tranquility of the valley. The gardens that envelope the whole property, add to the stunning backdrop that is here for you to luxuriate in.
Peruvian Culture
We will get to know the Peruvian people through unique cultural experiences such as a welcoming Despacho Ceremony led by a local shaman, a day trip to Pisac to visit a traditional weaving family, and a Peruvian fine chocolate tasting. Also, on the full moon of our retreat, there will be an opportunity to sit with the plant medicine of the San Pedro Cactus (optional and highly recommended).
Accommodations
Each of the four rooms features stunning views, high quality linens, comfortable beds, and a private bath with hot water. The common area is surrounded on three sides by floor to ceiling windows for an ever-changing panoramic view that will take your breath away and leave you in awe at the splendor of this beautiful land.
Experience The Land
We will visit the ancient Saqsaywaman, Transportation to all excursions is included.
We will also have a hike up to the waterfall of Arin, and have a guided trek to the mountain lakes of Pitusiray high above the sacred valley.

Retreat Dates
All retreat participants need to arrive in Cusco by October 6th.
The official retreat start date is the 7th with everyone departing from the Green House on the morning of the 15th.
